"One thing you need to know is that there are no sculptors who work directly on bronze. It's much too hard a material to be sculpted. So you have to work with a material that can be sculpted, i.e. clay, plaster, wax, resin, stone. Even if it's hard, that can be sculpted and then you go to a foundry who do the reproduction in bronze."
